The clamp takes shape in CAD
The original CAD study established the connector geometry at the center of the system, shown here with its newer physical iteration.

Project log
A living record of HexaClamp—from the first digital studies to working parts and full-size structures.

02 / Physical prototype
The initial physical pieces made it possible to inspect the fit, spacing, and central fastening concept by hand.

03 / First full structure
A useless example, to let imaginations play.

04 / New iteration
For now we went ahead with the center piece being 3d printed. This way it is easier than countersinking solid metal. Contrary the plastic-casing takes some patience to fit the Nuts and ain't as durable.
